Early New Years Resolutions

Wow, this year flew by.

I did not do good with last year's resolutions.  I have plenty of really "good" excuses too. ;)

I did increase my listings but not to the degree that I had planned for.
I did list more regularly but not daily.
I did not pay Ebay bill regularly at all.  I am constantly getting hit with a big bill every month. :(

I have learned soooo much this year from different Ebay facebook boards, blogs, and YouTube videos.  I am always amazed at how willing and open some sellers are to share their knowledge.   I have expanded my awareness of different items to look for, what brands to look for, and what to avoid.

I have also found new places to pick up items.  I have a couple new thrift stores in town that I frequent, and I usually only go to my "regular" thrift only once or twice a week now.  I also check out, craigslist, and a local facebook garage sale group.

Goals for 2014:
1) Increase my listings from month to month
2) List at least twice a week - my listing sessions are usually 10-20 items at a time
3) Pay my Ebay bill more frequently throughout the month (this will be the hardest)

Wish me luck!

Vintage 80's & 90's Acid Wash Denim Jean Jackets ARE BACK!

Don't you just love how everything old is new again?  I have recently been picking up acid wash clothing because the demand for them has been steadily growing.  True vintage is hard to find in my area.

Don't be deceived by the "new" acid wash look.  Those of us who can remember the original acid wash, can tell the difference in an instance.  The "new" acid wash look doesn't look as harsh as the vintage wash.  You can also tell by the manufacturer.

Stylist to the stars are on the hunt for these gems.  They look for unique and stylish statement pieces that they can dress their clients in.  Wearing vintage acid and stone wash items always make you feel urban edgy.

Here is one example:

Here is my latest find:

Also be on the look out for vintage acid wash Jeans:

Personally, I L-O-V-E vintage acid and stone wash items. Seriously! But because they are so rare to find in my area, I have yet to find any items that fit me, but when I do - watch out!
